This year’s Steelcase Dragon Run featured the strongest field ever assembled for a surf ski race anywhere in the world. So hat’s off to the winner, Australia’s Tim Jacobs, who powered across the finish line in a scorching, AND RECORD SETTING 1:32:36, beating three-time Dragon Run winner Dawid Mocke (1:33:28), and South Africa's world marathon K1 champion Hank McGregor (1:34:01).

Once again, Karel Tresnak Jr won the OC1 category in 1:51:46.

As always, the world’s elite men’s paddlers knew who the competition was in the Steelcase Dragon Run, which is now regarded as one of the top surf ski races in the world. Tim Jacobs and Dawid Mocke shake hands at the finish.

The event attracted 150 paddlers from around the world.

For the first time ever, six boys from the Hong Kong Sea School raced the Dragon Run, showing us who the competition of tomorrow may be.
