Hong Kong will be the stage of an International Surfski and Outrigger solo race across some of the best paddling waters in the territory on November 24. The proposed course is 30km long, although this may be shortened depending on conditions on race day. A map of the proposed course can be viewed here

Prize Money: US$10,000, with the breakdown being as follows:

1st across the line: US$5,000

2nd: US$2,000

3rd: US$1,500

4th: US$1,000

5th: US$500

Should race organizers receive sufficient entries in the women’s category, an additional cash prize for the first woman home will be offered.

Race Entry Fee: HKD500 (approx US$65).

World Rankings:
The "Dragon Run" has been included as one of surfski.info's 8 world ranking races for the 2007/08 season.

Rental Skis/Canoes:
A number of Epic and Fenn skis will be available for rent at a rate of US$250 for the race week. OC1 canoes are also available for rental. If you wish to reserve a rental surf ski please contact Rene (for Epic surf skis) at Rene at info@roughwater.com.hk or James (for Fenn surf skis and OC1 canoes) at kaikane@netvigator.com.

Race Registration will take place at the Victoria Recreation Club in Deep Water Bay, Hong Kong at 7pm on Thursday November 22. However, please confirm your interest in participating in the race by e-mailing Andy at aorr@imgworld.com.
